Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Programme management is a team activity, and a tool the whole team cannot use is a broken tool. Depentra is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across the public website and the authenticated application.

What this looks like in practice

  • Every interactive element has a minimum 44 by 44 pixel touch target and a visible focus state.
  • Full keyboard navigation, including chart interaction: arrow keys pan, plus and minus zoom, Enter selects a task.
  • Colour is never the only carrier of meaning; status and risk are always paired with text labels.
  • The colour customisation system includes a live contrast ratio checker that warns when a combination fails WCAG AA.
  • All animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
  • Body text is at least 14 pixels with a line height of at least 1.5.

Known limitations

  • The dependency chain network diagram does not yet have a full screen-reader equivalent; a tabular alternative is provided. Remediation target: October 2026.
  • Drag-and-drop rescheduling on the Gantt has a keyboard alternative via the task detail panel, but the drag interaction itself is not yet announced step-by-step. Remediation target: December 2026.
  • PDF exports include alt text summaries for charts, but complex chart data tables are still being improved. Remediation target: September 2026.

Assistive technologies tested

We test with NVDA and JAWS on Windows (Chrome, Firefox, Edge), VoiceOver on macOS and iOS (Safari), and TalkBack on Android (Chrome), plus keyboard-only navigation and 400% zoom.

Reporting an issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email accessibility@depentra.com with the page, the assistive technology you were using, and what happened. We acknowledge within 2 business days and prioritise accessibility defects alongside functional bugs.
