Acceptable Use Policy

This policy defines what is and is not acceptable when using Depentra. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Prohibited content
You may not store or share through Depentra content that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property rights;
- contains malware, or links designed to phish or defraud;
- includes special category personal data (for example health or biometric data) without a lawful basis and appropriate plan-level safeguards;
- harasses, threatens, or discriminates against any person or group.
Prohibited automation
- Do not use bots or scripts to create accounts, circumvent seat limits, or defeat rate limits.
- API access must use your organisation's issued credentials and stay within your plan's rate limits (60 to 600 requests per minute by tier).
- Load testing against production systems requires prior written approval from security@depentra.com.
Data scraping restrictions
Automated scraping of the application, other organisations' data, or the public website beyond what robots.txt permits is prohibited. Exporting your own organisation's data through the built-in export tools and the API is always allowed.
Security research
Good-faith vulnerability research under our disclosure policy on the Security pageis welcome. Testing against other customers' data is never permitted.
Consequences of violation
Depending on severity, we may warn you, remove content, suspend specific features, suspend the account, or terminate the subscription. Where practicable we give notice and an opportunity to remedy. Violations involving unlawful content may be reported to authorities. Fees are not refunded for terminations caused by material breach of this policy.
Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse to abuse@depentra.com. We investigate all reports within 2 business days.
